It's that time of year again ~ denim season!
If you're on the hunt for some new jeans, we've got the guide to help you find your perfect fit.
This season, we're seeing three key styles dominating:
Wide Leg
Straight Leg
Barrel Leg
Obviously, there's plenty of flexibility within each of those categories. Straight legs can be loose and relaxed, or a more classic silhouette, while a wide leg covers a broad spectrum of shapes, and barrels just keep evolving every time we blink!
On our shelves, you'll find the following core styles which we've popped on a little scale to make things easy!
Wide Leg
Still a wardrobe staple after so many years, the wide leg jean will do it all! She's easy to style back with most top options, she'll accommodate a wide variety of shoe choices, and you've got plenty of options when it comes to leg length and width.
We've had the Evie Wide Leg from CERES Life for several seasons now, and she's one of our most versatile cuts. Featuring 99% organic cotton and a high rise waist, she suits a variety of body shapes, has a touch of stretch for fit and comfort, and she's wide through the leg without being overwhelming. A great staple pair of jeans to have in your wardrobe, possibly in more than one colour, too!

The Zoey High Rise Wide Leg Pocket Jean became a favourite last year, largely because they are just sooooooo comfy! With 2% stretch (compared to 1% in the Evie), these jeans hug in all the right places without restricting movement. We love the front pocket detail for something different, and we can also source these in a petite and tall length as required - get in touch if you think this could be you!
The Zoey High Rise Wide Leg Pocket Jean from Among the Brave
The newest addition to the wide leg stable is the College Wide Leg. Relaxed through the leg, she's a great option if you're looking for something between a wide and straight silhouette. In contrast to the Zoey, she has a mid rise waist and 1% stretch, plus a fun tie belt at the waist (which is totally removable should you be looking for a cleaner silhouette!).

Straight Leg
We've got one classic straight option currently - the Sydney Straight Leg Jean from CERES Life. These jeans are an update on our previous bestseller Blake.
Sydney features 99% organic cotton and 1% stretch to give you movement without sacrificing that crisp straight shape, a high rise waist and a slightly longer leg length compared to the Evie Wide Leg. If you're someone who wants to get dressed with minimal thought, these bottoms are for you as they will work back with almost every top option without major styling effort. Great with boots, sneakers or loafers, you'll be covered for all occasions with these in your wardrobe.

Barrel Leg
Barrels have dominated the trendy denim space for a while now, and if you haven't jumped on the bandwagon yet, maybe now is the time to give them a try!
It's our second winter season with the Demi Barrel from CERES Life. With a mid rise waist and a tapered barrel leg that hits just above the ankle, they've been a popular option for some of our shorter customers thanks to their slightly cropped silhouette. Easy to team with sneakers and a jacket, or loafers and a cosy knit, they'll do it all and have you looking fashion forward with minimal effort.

We've also heard brilliant things about the Campus Tie Waist Barrel Jeans from Stories Be Told. These have been a sellout style with Flo & Frankie stores over the last 12 months, and we're excited for you to try them on our shelves. The Campus feature a high rise waist, 100% cotton fabrication, a tapered ankle and slightly cropped silhouette (although slightly longer than the Demi, we think!). Size up to play on the baggy nature of the style, or stick to your size for a relaxed fit.
