Part Time Retail Assistant

We are a small family-owned women's clothing store in the seaside town of Inverloch, Victoria. Our mission is to delight our customers with affordable, stylish and versatile clothing & accessories, and ensure that they feel part of a welcoming, kind and honest local community.
As we're nearing the end of our sleepy Winter season, and before the buzzing Summer months hit, we're looking for a part time retail assistant to join our team!

Duties & Responsibilities

First and foremost, our retail assistants are in store to provide outstanding customer service. Our ideal candidate would happily engage with all customers, offer assistance with sizing and style selection, and consistently deliver an exceptionally warm & friendly experience in-store.
Beyond customer service, duties will include processing sales & exchanges, unpacking deliveries & receiving stock, creating new displays, and ensuring the shop is clean, tidy and in tip-top order! There is also the potential for the role to include online store maintenance and some organic content creation too, but we are happy to tailor the position to best suit our candidate's skills.

Skills & Experience

Most of all, we’re looking for a bright and bubbly personality who will work hard with us to delight our customers.

This role will involve opening & closing the store independently. Our ideal candidate will be able to work efficiently on their own & confidently handle day-to-day tasks and administration without supervision.

This role will suit someone who is self-motivated, organised, and enthusiastic. Confidence with technology is important, and while previous retail experience would be excellent, it is not essential. We can teach you everything you need to know!

Hours & Rostering

Our ideal candidate will be available for two regular weekday shifts per week, plus at least one Saturday per month. There is the potential for hours to be increased further, especially over the busy Summer period.

This is an ongoing position into 2023, and we’re hoping to find someone who’ll happily spend their days with us well into the future!
